” The Relief and Rehabilitation Department strives to protect Maharashtra’s communities by providing swift assistance, efficient relief, and durable recovery through streamlined financial aid and transparent governance. We are dedicated to executing time-bound rehabilitation under robust statutory frameworks that guarantee essential civic amenities in all rehabilitated settlements. Our work includes rigorous monitoring via the State Rehabilitation Authority & Monitoring Committee, eliminating bonded labour, preserving human dignity, relocating at-risk villages, and building community resilience against future disasters.”
